It began in October 2017...

I was stuck in bed recovering from a surgery, when one day I became equally bored and nostalgic, and casually searched the web for remnants of Toontown Online. I'd known that TTO was officially extinct circa 2012 but I was hoping to just watch some videos on gameplay, or something similar. But when my search result unearthed the very active Toontown Rewritten, I was so excited that I created an account, and spent the next couple months playing daily!

I will admit...

My TTO days were very sparse. I jumped on the trend in 2003 as a teen, but I didn't have any money to spare--so I was only ever able to do the trial version. But it stuck with me for years; the music, the different lands... they were SO cool. I often would see the ads for the game, or pass by the membership cards at different stores, but it was hugely inaccessible. In 2008 when I did have some money to spare, I got a TTO card from 7-Eleven, and played for a month or two. I have some of the newsletters and trading cards, but I definitely didn't get far in the game, probably only going through the second gag track at most. SO I am so glad Toontown Rewritten exists!!

In 2023, I finally created another toon. Her name is Lady Gale and she's a Cartoonival Pink Croc. I love her so much! Her gag track is almost maxed (missing lvl 7 TU and lure) and she has Organic Trap. After that, I began creating many toons for many scenarios. A black cat on Friday the 13th. A Frankensteined spooky green/spooky purple/cartoonival pink mouse. A horse with one of my favorite book character's names. A dog because I like the chat sounds for dogs in game. A pig named after Bea Arthur. You really can have it all, in Toontown.
